We were fortunate enough to go to my parent's home for Christmas. I was really glad we did. It was so fun to share my children's excitement and enthusiasm with them.
Here's a quick recap:
Hometown received 12 inches of snow the day we drove down. The (normally) 5 hour drive became a 8 hour drive.
The next morning R helped with snow management.

E and R decorated a Gingerbread house.

Papa read stories.

Grammy had the traditional Christmas Eve present for all the grandkids.

They looked very cute.

Santa found us

but by the way the tree looked he could have passed us by.

M would have been happy with oranges and the plastic phone in her stocking,

But R totally got it this year.

There were homemade gifts

and even something fun for the mom and dad.

It was a great trip and the kids are sad to be home.
