Even Grumps need to update their blogs

I've been a grump lately. I don't like it and I know that there really is no reason for it (except for the extra hormones from gestating...) So tonight I thought I'd think of things that HAVE made me smile this week.

• During a diaper change at church, M noticed a baby. I asked her if she was a baby or a girl. Her answer was "gull." SO CUTE. We ask her like 5 times a day just to hear her say "gull." She's also added please to her regular vocabulary and likes to pray along with whoever is praying.
• A recent conversation with R. R:Mom, who's your mom? Me: Grammy is my mom. R: Oh. Yeah. Dad, who is your dad? E: Grandad is my dad. R: Oh. Yeah. M, who is your baby? M: lifts shirt, points to tummy and says "BABY!" R: R, where is your kid? Then R lifts shirt and points to tummy. Mom growing a baby is a hard concept.
  
• I got to go to lunch with a friend today. Woo Hoo! So worth the 2 hour drive to get there. Thanks for being a good friend Ray. Even if you FORCED me to buy a super cute dress for M. I'll take full credit for the ruby slippers. (Photo to come soon...)
• R likes his DAD to change his pants when he has an accident.
• E is done with his first semester back to school full time. He did well in his classes. It is fun to have him home so much for the next few weeks.
• Because E his home more, I get to nap more.
  
• I have a kickin' kid in utero. It is fun to feel him moving around. Several times this last week he's hit a ticklish spot when I lay down to go to bed.
