Presents under the tree

Growing up I always put myself in charge of organizing all the presents under the tree. I would arrange them and rearrange them every time another gift was added. I didn't really shake the gifts, but I loved to study their size and shape. I have always loved the surprise of a wrapped gift, and never went looking for presents or anything. I spent way too much time sitting near the tree moving packages around. When I was first married, my mom said she was excited for me to get to her house so I could arrange the presents. This may even be the case this year. Is it mom?

At this point, we can't put presents under our tree. I put out 2 "test" gifts (PJs that the kids found in my closet) to see if my kids would leave them alone. They did not. Although R's argument of "but my name was on it" was a rather good one. So I will have to wait until we travel to my mom's house to break out my mad gift organizing skillzzz, and pray my kids can keep their hands off them until Christmas.

Our tree is free of presents this year too. My kids are too curious to trust:).

I am glad you left a comment. I haven't been able to get on your blog since Birthday dinner in June.

I don't have any presents yet under the tree because I haven't had time to wrap them yet.

Have a Merry Christmas!
